IDEAL FIT for utility-scale parks with panel structures above 92 cm and large service corridors between panel rows.
Situación
A vast photovoltaic site spanning tens to hundreds of hectares. Wide service corridors, rows of panels with elevated structures, kilometers of fencing.
Problema
Manual brushcutting is impossible at utility scale. Traditional tractors damage structures and panels. Seasonal labor is unreliable. Vegetation grows fast, mowing 5 to 8 times per season.
SOLUCIÓN
A heavy-duty autonomous mower that handles the entire solar park in a single shift. Refueling instead of charging, no downtime.
Spider Autonomous 2.0 has been validated on more than 8,000 hectares across Germany, Italy, the UK and Spain, primarily in solar parks. The 726 ccm Kawasaki engine handles dense vegetation that electric machines would have to mow twice. The operator runs two more machines in parallel at the same time, tripling the effective throughput.
For installations with low panel structures under 92 cm, the Super Low variant at 72 cm or Raymo SAM at 50 cm are recommended, they reach under panels where Spider Autonomous 2.0 cannot. A common combination is Spider Autonomous 2.0 on the main corridors with SL or Raymo SAM for sub-panel mowing.

Why Spider Autonomous 2.0?
-
Heavy-duty Kawasaki engine handles dense, tall vegetation in a single pass
-
Unlimited working time thanks to fast refueling, no waiting for charging
-
GPS-RTK precision around panels, fences and structures without perimeter wires
-
One operator runs 3 machines in parallel, tripling site coverage
-
Reporting in the Automowing Portal for investors: mowed area, time, GPS tracks
-
Validated: EDP, CJR Renewables and other solar operators across Europe
Run a solar park over 50 ha? We'll calculate the ROI of deploying 3× Spider Autonomous 2.0 vs. your current contractor mowing.
